Funeral service for Florence Louise Taylor, 79 yrs., a resident of Market Street & formerly of Deadmans Cay, Long Island will be held at Christ the King Parish Church, Ridgeland Park, West on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev'd Canon Curtis Robinson, assisted by Rev'd Fr. Whitfield Hutcheson. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, JFK Drive.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Gladys Ferguson; sister: Viola Taylor; 4 grandchildren: Derrick & Allan Ferguson, Portia Ferguson Bethel & Patrice Babb; 12 great grandchildren: Anthony, Kenan, Dimitrios, Taniesho, Allan Jr., Jahven, William, Shonny, Shakera, Sharez, Santeche, & Cynthia; 1 niece: Rita Sweeting; 4 grandnephews: Phillip, Michael, Bryon & Barry Sweeting; 1 grandniece: Michelle Stubbs; 4 great grandnephews, 6 great grandnieces, cousins: Doreen Dean & famikly, Gloria Smith & family, Naomi, Ruth & family, Merideth Martin & family, Cathlene Hall & family; other relatives & friends including: Charles Sweeting, Stephanie, Nicola, Karen & Montess Sweeting, Marvin Stubbs, Phillip Bethel, Ray Hepburn, Yourrick Whymms, Angela Sweeting, Heidi Ferguson, Latoya Cox, Sister Laurene Cox & family, Jessie Darville & family, Alfred Bullard & family, & Doctor Lavar Gomez from the Family Medicine Center of the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday from 9-12:00 noon & at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
