Funeral service for
Leonard Wilfred Sands, 57

a resident of Barbados Street, Golden Gates #2, will be held at Evangelic Assembly, Baillou Hill Road & Fleming Street, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Patrick V. Smith, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, JFK Drive.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Elaine; five sons: Leonard, Devon, Quentin, Tavyn, Sgt. 451 Aaron Sands; five daughters-in-law: Christina, Meileka, Tamika, Cardina, Cpl. 30 Shanell Sands; seven grandchildren: Aaron Jr., Arielle, Aneyah, Noel, Devonique, Valencia and True; three brothers: Ivan, Leslie and Bradley Sands; mother-in-law: Alsaida Brown; five brothers-in-law: Rudolph Brown, Garnett Brown, William Brown, Michael Brown, Minister Gary Watkins; seven sisters-in-law: Dorothea Brown, Dellarese Brown, Patrice Brown, Leah Brown, Janet Watkins, Denise Sands and Natasha Brown; twenty-one nieces and nephews: Alice Carey, Kim Thurston, Renee Johnson, Samantha Evans, Carolyn Watkins, Denise Sands, Marvalyn Burrows, Chandles Williams, Charesse Major, Crystal Ferguson, Raymond, Kirk, Gregory, Kevin, Brian Williams, Reverend Barry Johnson, Dennis Jr., Dwayne, Devon Sands, Tina and Denise “Deyountel’ ” Sands. Other Relatives and Friends including: Jack Woods, Katherine Woods, the Bain Town Community, Cpl. 1361 Don Dorsett, Anthon Miller, the Barbados Street Community, Wayne Gibbs, Reggie, the Kenny Family, the Stubbs Family, the McKinney Family, the Poitier Family, the Brown Family, the Watkins Family, Mary Moxey, Edgar (Capul) Brown, Euna Miller, Junior Sands and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
