Funeral Service for Edith Victoria Turnquest, age 85 years, of No. 25 Robinson Road, formerly of Deadman’s Cay, Long Island, will be held at Living Faith Seventh Day Adventist Church, Old Trail Road, on Sunday December 15th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Hugh A. Roach, Pastor Mark Ewen, Pastor Barrington H. Brennan and Pastor Paul A. Scavella assisted by other ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Solider Road.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Joanne Pinder-Capron; adopted son: Jimmy Marc of New York; grandchildren: Martin Pinder, Carlos Capron, Mequiel Strachan, Manuel Pinder, James Marc Jr., Juanita Capron-McCartney, Joanna Pearce-Capron, Jelita Capron-Rolle, James and Kendra Capron and Marina Capron-Knowles; great grandchildren: Agassi Lobosky, Darrelle and Tamisha Capron, De’Amato, Evelyn and Stanley Christie, Pedro, Randy D. and Randy E. McCartney Jr., Delano Harris, Kevano, Kevin Jr., Angel and Keveca Rolle, Desmond Strachan Jr., Delano Munroe, Martin Jr., Clarance, Nathan, Manuel Jr., Jayden and Dekota Pinder; great-great grandchildren: Raja McCartney, Mercedes Santos Lopez, I’Shanique and Kevano Rolle Jr., one brother: Eugene Turnquest; two sisters: Enid Major and Jeraldine Isaacs; nieces: Diann Turnquest, Joycelyn Turnquest-Finlayson; Robin McDonald, Deborah, Michelle and Sharon Turnquest and Pamela; nephews: Bertram, Stafford and Orville Turnquest, Chip Isaacs, Mark and Stanley Major, Victor, Tyrone, Kevin, Lil Paul, Reddi and Wendell; five grand nephews; six grand nieces; other relatives and friends including: Brother and Sister Lloyd, Mama Scavella and family, Living Faith Seventh Day Adventist Church family, Pastor Hugh A. Roach and Family, Mrs. Lerline Adderley, Management and Staff of Asa H. Pritchard Ltd., and many others too numerous to mention.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Saturday December 14th, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday December 15th, 2013 at 12:00 noon until service time.
