It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our father, Otis Ferdinand Kanitsch (FRED), who was born on 6th February, 1932 and died on 14th February, 2013.
Mr. Kanitsch is survived by his wife, Sheila; his children, Alison, Neal and Denise; son-in-law, Johnny; daughter-in-law, Gaye; grandchildren, Kristen, Ashley, Nicholas, Katie, Jason and Derek; brothers, Terry and Arnley; sister, Margaret; sisters-in-law, Joan, Shirley, Yvonne, Margaret Rose and Patricia. His life long friend Vincent. Many nieces and nephews who were all loved by Uncle Fred and numerous family and friends including Renee Lowe, Joan Carey and Douglas Wells.

A Funeral Service was held at Trinity Methodist Church, Frederick Street and Trinity Place, Nassau, The Bahamas, on Sunday 17th February, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.
Reverend William Higgs and Reverend Charles A. Sweeting, O.B.E., J.P., officiated and interment followed in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Instead of flowers the family request that donations be sent to a charity of your choice, in memory of Otis Ferdinand Kanitsch.
