Funeral Service for the Late Garth Ivan Major Jr., 40 years of Kennedy Subdivision, will be held on Friday January 4th, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, Montrose Avenue. Rev. Fr. G. Kingsley Knowles assisted by Fr. Andrew Toppin will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive & Gladstone Road.

Garth left behind family who will miss him beyond words. He is survived by his loving wife: Sanya Nicole Freeman-Major; Children: Gar’von Major and Garrans Major; Stepson: Tajani Williams; Brothers:  Kevin e Strachan of Virginia, U.S.A.; and Brad Shurland of New York, New York, U.S.A.; Sister: Patrice M. Kemp of Stone Mountain, Georgia, U. S. A.; Stepbrother: Damario Major; Nieces: Yashika F. Carey, Raedean Ferguson, Destiny R. Kemp and Faith D. Kemp; Grandniece: Infinie P. Reid; Grandnephews: Antwan F. Adams and Elijah W. Carey; Uncle: Tyron Strachan; Aunts: Thelma Seymour and Cyprianna Strachan; Numerous Cousins: Clarence Major, Larry Major, Rosalyn Seymour, Ruth Seymour, Yakima Moore, Everette Strachan Jr., Trevor Strachan, Brent Strachan, Kim Strachan, Shayanna Strachan, Nicola Mcarthy, Marie Robinson  ,Tyson Strachan, Tyrone Strachan Jr., Travis Strachan, Tenille Vargas, Peralter-Torah Strachan, Tora Strachan, Darmon Darville, Karel Peterson, Tyran Major and Lakell Pratt ; and a host of Family, friends and close colleagues including:  The Major’s, The Strachan’s, The Smith’s, The Brown’s, The Poitier’s, The Clark’s, The Bain’s, The Smith’s, The Coopers, The Culmersville Family, The Kennedy Subdivision  family, The Carey’s, The Pratt Family, Valderis Walkine, Sherman Johnson, Benson Johnson, ,The Staff At Bahamas Customs, The Tropical Shipping Family, and all his friends and family at Island Site Development.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34A Nassau Street on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
