Funeral Service for the late ROSETTA SMITH age 86 years, formerly of the Bluff, South Andros, and a resident of Eight Mile Rock, will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Eight Mile Rock. Officiating will be Rev. Lindy Russell, assisted by Rev. Timothy Burrows and Rev. Leon Anderson. Interment will follow in the Harbour West Public Cemetery.
She is survived by seven children: Madone Rahming, Patsy Baillou, Thelma Huyler, Eramae Smith, Nurse Winifred Humes, Norma Pinder and one son: Reuben Smith; three sons-in-law: Daniel Pinder, Valentine Huyler, Theophilus Humes; two daughters-in-law: Florence Smith and Cynthia Wildgoose-Smith; 68 grandchildren: Shorn Smith, Sandra Knowles, Madesa Roberts, Mae Lisa Randle, Karen Neely, Shonell Humes, Vanessa and Indera Humes, Shenreece, Heather, Elizabeth and George Jones, Kimberly Fritz, Shantel, Ranardo and Lavardo Butcher, Melinda Smith, Sharmaine Missick, Alphonzo, McKenzie, Lakeshia, Erica, Nasal, Kimberly, Clarissa, Bernadette, Debbie, Nadine, Nadone, Maria, Janis, Tammy and Maxine Smith, Veronica Bishop, of Nassau, Bahamas, Rodger, Craig, Patrick, Paul, Sedrick and Fedrick Rahming, Ricardo Culmer, Elvis Russell, of Brooklyn, New York, Stanley and Don McInnis, Osmond McInnis, of West Palm Beach, Florida, Van Moss and Detective Corporal 2259 Humes, Dario and Marco Smith, Theophilus Humes, Olivia, Kevin and Kimberly McKenzie, Eliczander and Maset Smith; 94 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law: James Smith of the Bluff, South Andros; four sisters-in-law: Enid, Remilda and Victoria Smith, of the Bluff, South Andros and Lorina Rolle, of Nassau, Bahamas; two nieces: Mable Johnson and Estelle McPhee; other family members and friends including: Kendell Lewis, Janis Rolle, Nyoka, Kim, Francita, Samantha, Marissa, Tancia, Sharlene, Georgine, Sharmaine, Van Willard Roberts, Herburt Missick, Adrian Neely, Ricardo and Raymond Rolle, Hazel Williams, Decond Anderson, Kevin Knowles, Christopher Saunders, of Bimini, Sister Walkins and family, Rev. Viewing will be held at Russell’s and Pinder’s Funeral Home, Friday, July 5, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
