Funeral Service for Matriarch-Margaret “Mama” Mortimer, age 103 of Yellow Elder Gardens and formerly of Mortimer’s, Long Island who died on May 14th 2013 will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy, Shirley Street. Officiating will be Bishop Nelson W. Ferguson, Bishop Solomon Humes, Bishop Rudolph McKinney and Pastor Carlson Arthur. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. at the Church on Saturday until service time.
