Funeral Service for the Late James Harcourt Gibson, 82 years of Jerome Avenue and formerly of Savannah Sound, Eleuthera, will be held on Saturday November 30th, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Kirk, Princess Road. Rev. Bryn MacPhail assisted by Rev. Charles Sweeting will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

He is survived by:- His Sons: Vaughn, James and Gerry Gibson; Daughters: Deidre Laroda and Vanessa Allen; Grandsons: Yannick, Xavier, Seth James, Jeremy, Jason, Gibson, Dwayne Campbell, Tarik Laroda, Jadynn, Jordan and Justin Gibson; Granddaughters: Brittany Allen and Gernyka Gibson; Son-in-law: Myles Laroda; Daughters-in-law: Charmaine and Judy Gibson; Brothers: Wainwright and Dr. Walter Gibson; Sisters: Una Clarke, Zala Johnson and Rosetta Gibson; Brother-in-law: George Bethel; Sisters-in-law: Sandra Gibson and Ellen Thompson; Nephews: Esias Paul, Perry, Philip Wilshire, Dr Byron Clarke, Aubrey and Kiah Gibson,  Eddie, Michael and Derrick Johnson, Neville, Am Ar- Rahman, Thaddeus, Lawrence, Vernon, Glen, Vincent and Bernard Thompson Charles, Shane, Elvin and Terrance Carey; Nieces: Alice Carol-Ann, Ingrid Allen, Sandra Evans, Anita Culmer, Carol  Roberts and Lauren Gibson Calliope, Margaret Smith, Gilda Dean, Patronage Crawford, Ellen Donavan, Regina Bowles, Renee Graves, Judith and Joy Thompson, Cheryl Arnette, Kerri Thompson, Sandra; and Sylvia Carey; God children: Richlene Williamson and Arthur Seymour. Other relatives and friends including, Rev. Charles Sweeting and Family members of the St Andrews Presbyterian Kirk Church and Choir, Louis Hanchell, Harold Longley, Clu Crawford, Carolyn Grant, Hattie Brown, Sharon Ferguson, Ruth Neely, Naomi Johnson, Sheila Gibson, Roseanne Gibson, Dwayne Campbell, Basil Allen, the Community of Jerome Avenue, the Community of Savannah Sound, Ida Rahming; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
