Funeral Service for Mrs. Blunetta “Blu” Roach, age 101 years, a resident of Hanna Road, and formerly of Young Street and Devil’s Point, Cat Island will be held on Sunday October 13th 2013, 1:00 p.m.at The Grants Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wellington Street. Officiating will be Pastor H. A. Roach, Pastor Leonardo D.K.Rahming, assisted by Pastor E. Danny Clarke, Pastor Wendell R. McMillian, Pastor John Carey, Pastor Barrington Brennen, Pastor Basil Sturrup and Pastor Michael Toote. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Predeceased by her Husband 73 years Arthur “Leon” Roach Sr. and Son Dr. Arthur Leon Roach Jr., she is survived by 6 Children: Anthony “Tony” Roach, Dr. Clara McPhee, Veronica McGee, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Leona Roach, Freeport, Grand Bahama, Annette Dorsett, Adelma Roach Counsel and Attorney- at-Law; 18 grandchildren: Cheryl McPhee, Maryland, Joel McPhee Jr. Counsel & Attorney-at-Law North Carolina, Carina Bridgewater, Sharon Roach, Shaunda Matkins Asso. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home & Crematorium, Robinson Road and First Street on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church from 11:30a.m until service time.
