He is survived by his wife: Olivia Alexandria Turnquest; his children: Colin (Donna) Turnquest; Cheryl Turnquest, Jacqueline (Paul) Knowles and Karenza (Robert) Prude; grand children: Colin Jr., Crystal, Davon and Talesha Turnquest; Nicolette and Angelique Knowles; Keith (Jessica) and Kylee Hill; adopted grandchildren: Donna Thurston, Sherika Burrows, J’Kya Turnquest and Robin Thompson; Adopted children: Erma and Wade Smith; Shirley Turnquest, Jack Wells, Peter Fox, Whitfield Pratt; brothers: Voines “Tony” Turnquest, and Austin (Diane) Burrows; sisters: Hazel Turnquest-Hamilton, Rosena (Doddridge) Hunt; Gwendolyn (Ron) Rahming; Kathy (Edison) Key; and Geraldine (Kenneth) Sands; sisters-in-law: Ena (Henry) Major; Colleen Adderley; Thelma (Thomas) Dean; Elma (Robert) Garraway; Harriet (Clyde) Pratt; the communities of Gray’s and Deadman’s Cay, Long Island.
