Homegoing Service for the late Herbert Alexander “Papa” Cox, age 73 of Christie Avenue, Stapledon Gardens and formerly of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos will be held on Saturday August 2nd, 2014 at 11:00am at Church of Christ Eight Street, The Grove. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Dorsett assisted by other ministers. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.
Left to honor and cherish his memories is his wife: Viola “Villa” Cox. Four sons: Milton, Winsett, Cruz and PC1065 Herbert Cox, Three daughters: Hopeful, Deborah and Clodean, One Daughter in Law: Monique Cox, Fourteen grandchildren: Tenisha, Cesare, Lachara, Nia, Jayden, Danno, Marshalene, Michael, Joshua, Gushen, Lashonda, Theo, Sade and Jason. Eight great grandchildren: seven brothers: Eddie Moore, Walter Moore (Turks & Caicos), Alvin Parker (Turks & Caicos), Wendell Seymour (Turks & Caicos), Rudolph Seymour (Turks & Caicos), Mackey and Sherman Seymour (Atlanta, Georgia). Ten Sisters in Law: Edith Moore, Valeria Glinton, Ismae, Lanita, Daniella, and Jeanide Seymour, Raffilitha Williams, Rosenthal Gardiner (Turks & Caicos), Almaida Hall (Turks & Caicos), Victoria Hall (Turks & Caicos), Four Brothers in law: Leroy Williams (Freeport), Rev. Goldston Williams (Turks & Caicos), Inspector Alboin Williams (Turks & Caicos), Rev. Caleb Williams (Mississippi) Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: Avin, Darin, Denzil, Dywan, Denise, Dianne, Travis, James and Stephon. Friends may pay their last respects at Gateway Memorial/Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Centre, Mt. Royal Avenue & Talbot Street on Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and at the church on Saturday from 9:30am to service time.
