Funeral service for the late Cynthia Dora Price age 83 years of Golden Gates #2 and formerly of Airy Hill, Barbados will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at 1:30pm at St. Gregory The Great Anglican Church, Carmichael Road. Officiating will be Rev. Canon S. Sebastian Campbell assisted by Fr. Addison Turnquest. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Precious memories will forever linger in the hearts of her four daughters: Mrs. Cheryl McPhee, Charmaine Price, Claudette Price-Cola, Claris Price; 4 grandchildren: Daleiko (his wife Kecia), Min. Edrron McPhee, and Kandize McPhee, Caleia Burke; one son-in-law Edwin McPhee; 4 sisters: Mrs. Cordelle Harris, Mrs. Dorothea Grant, Mrs. Lorraine (Keith) Griffith and Earlene (& Roy) Walron; 3 brothers: Harry Smart (Shirley), Lionel (Shirley) Smart and Kenneth (Saltana) Smart; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of loving family and friends; Special thanks are extended to Rev. Canon S. Sebastian Campbell, The Reverend Addison Turnquest and the entire St. Gregory The Great Anglican Church family (including its Marching and Concert Band), The Bahamas Chorale, Organists Edward Cox and Darville “Sonny Darville”, Pastor Paul McPhee and the Carmichael Baptist Holiness Church family, The Reverend Atma Budhu and the Epiphany Anglican Church family, The Reverend Hugh Bartlett, Bishop Gilbert Thompson and the Parish Family of St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Dr. Theodore Ferguson and his support team, the Staff of the Female Surgical I Ward of the Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Patrick Whitfield, the Staff of the Dept. of Agriculture, Bahamasair, Ft. Lauderdale, The Barbadian-Bahamian Association, Beverly Simpson, the Burke family, Katherine Weech, Grace Bostwick, Karen Moxey, Betty Tinker, Mr. & Mrs. Kenrick Murray, Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Ford, Mr. Rawle Dean, Fern Bowleg, the McPhee family, and all who inquired of her well-being, kept her in their prayers, and/or administered to her in prayer and song during her brief illness; The family recognizes the fact that there are many other persons who are related to, many may have contributed to the life of, or was touched in some way by Cynthia. Viewing will be held in the Perpetual Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and at the church on Saturday from 12:30pm until service time.
