Funeral Service for Leslie Allie Varence age 66 years and a resident of #19A Waterfall Drive, Windsor Park, Freeport and formerly of Nassau will be held on Sunday 9th, February, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Church, Beachway and Gambier Drives, Freeport. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Scavella assisted by Elder Arleen B. Sands and Elder Lawrence G. Palmer. Interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park #2, Frobisher Drive.
Cherished memories are held by his wife: Monique Varence; siblings: Dorothy Cleare of Parrish, FL, Shirley Washington (Ernest) of Miami FL, Geniviee Smith (Jeffrey) of Brooksville, FL, Joan Varence of Miami, FL, RiChard VaRence (Shirley- Fletcher) of Nelsonia, Virginia, Dale Parrish (David) of Miami, FL, Sheryl Varence of Temple Terrace, FL; sisters-in-law: Freda Varence of Stone Mountain, GA and Mariette Ducharme of Province of Quebec, Canada; aunts: Florida Butler of Nassau, Bahamas, Rosenett Varence of Miami FL, Maybell Williams of San Salvador, Bahamas and Eliza Williams of San Salvador Bahamas, also left to mmourn are Leslie’s nieces, nephews, godchildren, the Cox family and his adopted siblings: Veronica Williams of Davie Florida, Donald Dean of Freeport, Grand Bahama, Dr. Joseph Evans of Nassau, Bahamas and his “Ace” Ena Cooper and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queens Highway on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
