Funeral service for Minister Uhijah Johnson, 101 yrs., a resident of Marathon Estates & formerly of Moss Town, Crooked Island, will be held at The Church of God of Prophecy, East Street Tabernacle, on Saturday 8th February, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Franklin M. Ferguson, assisted by Bishop Woodley C. Thompson & Minister Kendal C. Simmons. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He is survived by: Ellen, his loving wife of 76 years; 2 daughters: Ena Ferguson, Oralee Delmae Whylly;5 sons: Wendell, David, Roland, Linville, Minister Martin Johnson, Anthony Johnson (deceased); 2 adopted daughters: Brenda Cunningham and Lillian Deveaux; 1 adopted son: Loxley Forbes; 2 Sons-in-law: Roland Ferguson and Thomas Whylly; 5 Daughters–in-law: Annie Johnson, Ingrid ‘Mary’ Johnson, Stephanie Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Sirilak Johnson; Grandchildren: Ruth, Lawana and Frederick Johnson, Maureen& ElvinWilliams, Kendra, Kenton & Tabia, Kelron & Sherilyn and Konrad Whylly, Tanya & Aaron McKenzie, Kendra Leathen, Timayne & Althea Johnson, Datavia Johnson, Linville Johnson II, karissa Johnson, Veronique Russell, Dequesha & Michael Thomas, Cordell Johnson, Cheria Johnson, Rolanda Johnson, Chandia Johnson, Makaio and Makayla Johnson, Marvin Joseph; Great-grandchildren:Elvinette and Elginard Williams, Sergina Carroll, Aaryn and Abigail McKenzie, Albert Leathen Jr, Latia Johnson, Kanye Johnson, Decacia Russell, Devanti Johnson, Ebony Forbes, Danielle Thomas, David Thomas, Chase Johnson; 1 Great-great-grandson: Shakai Bowleg.
