Funeral service for
Vernita "Tommie" Thompson Johnson, 67

a resident of Faith Gardens & formerly of Arthur's Town, Cat Island, will be held at Southland Cathedral Church of God, Soldier Road, West, on Saturday 22nd February, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Goliath Burrows, assisted by Pastor Bernadette Moss. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Fond memories will forever linger in the hearts of her 2 daughters: Veronica & R/Cpl 918 Delores Adderley; sons: Wayde, Bryan of Philadelphia & Cpl. 477 Willard Johnson; grandchilden: WPC 2883 Shikera Adderley, Demeko, Destiny, Cyrell, PC 3725 Robert Young, Keirra, Keithrel, Keith Jr., Alexander, Xavier & Justin; great grandchildren: Shameka & Kaiden; 1 sister: Ruthmae Thompson; 2 brothers: Marlon & Jeremiah Thompson; 1 uncle: Ivan Thompson; 6 nieces: Josephine, Sherine, Bethsheba, Althea, Raphaletta, Christine & Janice; 8 nephews: Aaron, Kirk, Wilfred, Junior, Anthony, Cedric, Marvin & Anthony; 1 daughter-in-law: Nicarra Johnson; brother-in-law: Hartman Strachan; cousins: Helen Goodman, Ezra Sands, Howard Thompson; grandnieces & grandnephews too numerous to mention; other relatives & friends including: Princess Margaret Hospital Housekeeping Department, Public Hospital Authority especially Mr. Herbert Brown, Faith Gardens community, Oxford Medical Center especially Dr. Hubert Minnis, Ms. Jacqueline Dean & family, Vestra Forbes & family, Elvise Davis & family, Maryann Curtis, Esthermae Larrimore, Charlotte Williams, Idella Brown, The Royal Bahamas Police Force, Pastor Bernadette Moss & members of Overcoming Power Ministries, Adwar Davis & family, Min.
