Funeral Service for Veteran Educator Mr. Stanley David Miller, age 83 years, a resident of # 14 Tall Pines and formerly of North Palmetto Point, Eleuthera will be held on Saturday February, 1st 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at The Golden Gates World Outreach Ministries, Carmichael Road. Officiating will be Bishop Ross Davis assisted by Pastor Trent Davis, Associate Pastor. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He is predeceased by his parents and his only brother, Verdell and his loving wife Ida.
He is survived by a host of Family & Friends: Sons: Peter, Alexander, Rex and Audley; Daughters: Violet Franklin and Daphne Miller; Daughters-in-Law: Annette, Marilyn and Valarie; One Son-in-Law: Jimmie Franklin; Seven Grand Children: Raquel Wilson and her Husband, Dominic, Kristen Miller, Stanley Miller, Jr., Ashley and Alaynie Franklin, Kyeil and Cher Dacon; Four Great Grand Children: Dominic II and Daniel Peter Wilson, Carmelo and Kaylia Hall. Sister-in-Laws: Annie Pratt, Mrs. Ada Rolle, Shan and Sharon, Jerome Rolle, Mrs. Mary Darville, especially Phillipa, Pandora, Priscilla and Patricia and their families; Brother-in-Law: John Cartwright and his family especially Pauline Turnquest, Ben and Helen Cartwright, Truon Cartwright, Magdalene Cartwright, Susan, Brenda and Doreen Cartwright, Falcon Major, Vernitta Carroll; A host of family & friends including: The Honourable Philip Bethel, Honourable Leslie Miller, Sir Arthur Foulkes, Anthony Thompson, Vincent Thompson, Laban Thompson, Mrs. Anna Strachan and family, Mrs. Mrs. Freda Ingraham and family, Mrs Eunice Pyfrom & family, Mr. Fred Ramsey & Family, Mrs. Mable Bastian & family, the Thompsons & other family, Palmetto Point, Eleuthera and Ms. Valerie Laroda.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home & Crematorium, Robinson Road and First Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00p.m and on Saturday at the church from 9:30a.m until service time.
