Funeral service for
Drucilla Dames Thurston, 81

a resident of Miami Street & formerly of Conch Sound, Andros will be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 3rd Street the Grove, on Saturday 8th March, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Simeon Roberts. Interment follows in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Tyler Street.

Drucilla will be deeply and sadly missed by those left with her memories including her daughter Linda Thurston-Clarke. Grandchildren: Roland, Brian Latisha, Anna and Louise. Great Grandchildren: O’Brian and Teanna. Sister: Fredricka Ewing. Sister In-Law: Geneva Dames, Ophelia Hunter, Alva and Naomi Thurston. Brother In-Laws: Gladstone Braynen and William Ewing. Neices: Stephanie, Gwendolyn and D’Anne Braynen, Marylee Braynen-Symonette, Curline Forbes, Jillian Sands, Gretal Forbes, Karen Decoster, Charlene Sands, Jean, Melvena, Hope, Janet and Joyann Ewing, Nora Davis, Rosemary Hepburn, Wendania Dames, Shirley Hamilton, Janet Bishop, Linda Thompson and Merlyn Francis. Nephews: Donald, Gladstone, and George Braynen, Hansel, Prince, Glen, Stephen, Fred and Inspector Dennis Dames, Alexander, Frederick and Dencil Dames, William, Gordon and Phillip Ewing. Grand Neices: CindyAnn, Shantell, Gladstina, and Donniqua Braynen, Inderia Adderley, Boniecia Forbes, and Jernae Darville. Grand Nephews: Jerad Darville, Rajiv Mackey, Devin and Justin Symonette, Sherwin, Donald Jr., DonShannon and Donnovan Braynen, Alcaleno forbes. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 8:45 a.m. until service time.
