Funeral Service for Lillian Delores Ward “Mother Ward”, age 85 years of Soldier Road, will be held on Saturday May 10th, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at New Lively Hope Baptist Church, Jerome Avenue & Chesapeake Road. Rev’d. Sheldon Higgs assisted by other ministers of the religion will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.
She is survived by Five (5) daughters: Pat Ward, Judy Ward-Brown, Kaye Ward, Delores Ward, Marilyn Ward-Kemp. Three (3) sons: George Ward Sr., Kent Ward, Gary Ward. Two (2) daughters-in-law: Sylvia Ward, Ingrid Ward. Two (2) sons-in-law: Harry Kemp, Pastor Vanzelen Brown Sr. Three (3) sisters: Catherine Saunders, Joan Bowe-McKay, Visna Bowe-Mackay. Adopted sisters: Lucy Sands, Marion Bowe. Two (2) brothers: F. Nigel Bowe, Kenneth Bowe. Two (2) sisters-in-law: Stephanie Bowe, Kwanza Bowe. One (1) brother-in-law: Charles Mackay. Twenty (20) Grand Children: Tanya Ward, Troy Ward, Daks Duncanson, George Ward Jr., Noëlle Scott, Jaynna Ward, Alphaneise Stubbs, Dominique Ward, Kentisha Ward, Charl's Moss Jr., Kent Ward Jr., Caryn Moss, D'Nard Ward, Jyles Carter, Bryttany Roberts, Yvon Carter, Matthew Kemp, Brenetta Ward, David Ward, Peter Williams.
