Funeral Service for Ruth Olivia Burrows age 88, of Lower Deadman’s Cay, Long Island will be held on Saturday October 18th 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Hamilton’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Canon Harry Ward. Interment will follow in St. Athanasius Anglican Church Cemetery, Lower Deadman’s Cay, Long Island.
Left to cherish her memories are her six sons: Dash, John, Patrick, Basil, Maxwell and Dave; one brother: Leon Cartwright; four sisters: Angela Treco, Muriel Knowles, Carlyn Knowles and Maitland Jones; two daughters-in-law: Lorrinda and Carolyn; two brothers-in-law: Randolph Knowles and Claude Burrows; five sisters-in-law: Beryl Cartwright, Monica Algreen, Angie Neely and Ivy Burrows, six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews including: Birdie and Emma Cartwright, Jimmy & Rhodine Fox; her caretakers: Lorrinda, Birdie, Emma, Jennyilee Rolle, Mae, Ethel Mcphee, Dr. Forte, Dr. Carter, Nurse Fernander; friends including: Nolvin & Elva, Turnquest, Clarence & Gwenny Carroll, Maria Burrows, Ethlyn Burrows, Eloise Jackson, Judy Rolle, Patsy Harding Kyrle & Cindy Cartwright and many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing will be held at the Church in Hamilton’s on Friday from 5pm until service time Saturday.
