Funeral Service for the Late Bernice Johnson, 94 years of Soldier Road and formerly of James Cistern, Eleuthera, will be held on Saturday September 6th, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Shirley Street. Rev. Godfrey Bethell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery.

Left to cherish her fond and loving memories are: Three Daughters: Agnes, Francis and Elaine Johnson; Two Sons: Clunis Johnson and James Johnson (Adopted); One Sister: Christiana “Rita” Johnson; Two Sisters-In-Law: Louise Bosfield and Marinette Poitier-Bethel; Grandchildren: Ena Symonette, Shirley Johnson, Sandra Rolle, Marilyn Smith, Tracey Adderley, Tany Brown, Tanya Griffin, Patrice (Irwin) Phelps, Veronique (Kirkland) Sands, Karen Johnson, Desdemona Gibbs, Margo Gibbs, Denise (Terrance) Allen-Pinder, Louisa Williams, Clunise Johnson, Lynn-Michelle (Bobby) Dames, Leonard Johnson, Charles Johnson, Leron Johnson, Jipcho (Sherelle) Johnson, Wayden Williams, Ivry (Denise) Johnson, Cohen (Kenyatta) Johnson, Deon Johnson, Chrispen Johnson and Dario Johnson. Nieces: Sharon (Clifford) Scavella, Cheryl (Peter) Fox, Renee Ann (Jon) Burrows, Margaret (Joseph) Swain, Bertha Bosfield, Karen Leadon, Eddrin Turnquest, Margerita and Helen Major; Nephews: Richard (Esterlene) Johnson, Eleazor Johnson, William (Margaret) Johnson, Clement Johnson, Charles Wallace, Clement and Philip Bosfield; Special Thanks to: All of her nurses and caregivers including, Dr. Mikus Mikula, the staff of the Female Medical Ward I & II, Sister Poitier, Sister Newbold, the staff at the Elizabeth Estate Clinic, the staff of the Ann’s Town Clinic, the Ebenezer Methodist Church Family, the entire family of James Cistern, Eleuthera, the management and staff of Kentucky Fried Chicken, the Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union, Pastor Alfred Stuart and family, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Pinder, Mr. Cliff Albury of New Way Electric Co. and the family of Red Sea Dr., off Soldier Road. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Any omission or oversight was not intentional.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34 Nassau Street, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
