Funeral Service for Pastor Harriet Remelda Dean, age 71, of Mortimer’s, Long Island will held at Church of God of Prophecy, Burnt Ground, Long Island on Saturday September 06th 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Dr. Franklin M. Ferguson, National Overseer, Assisted by Bishop George E. Thompson, District Overseer. Interment will follow in Church of God of Prophecy Church Cemetery, Mortimer’s, Long Island.

Left to mourn are her brother: Hollan Dean; sister- in- law: Elsie Dean; three sisters: Emma Hanna, Gertrude and Alice, one step-brother: Lawrence Cartwright; two uncles: McField Mortimer of Mortimer’s, Long Island, Bishop Herman Dean of Miami, Florida; three aunts: Pearline Mortimer of Mortimer’s Long Island, Harriet Mynott, and Virginia Major; two nieces: Marjorie Pennerman and Ruth Beneby; one nephew: Andrew Dean; two nephews- in-law: Emmanuel Pennerman and Edbert Beneby and one niece- in- law: Joy Dean; four grand- nieces: Phylicia and Madison Beneby, Alexa and Amber-Rose Dean; three grand-nephews: Matthew and Michael Pennerman, and Joshua Dean; numerous relatives including: Donald, John, Michael, George, Sandra, Vandeline and Wilamae, Bishop Norward and Ruby Dean, Eloise, Audrey, Irene, Anna and Lula, Leonard Mortimer of Miami, Florida, Doreen, Florrie, and Judy, Barbara, Cynthia, Ruth and Gary Smith, Kenneth and Sandra Fox, and Vandelyn, Freda Major, Edmond and Judy, Malachi and Marilyn, David and Gwendolyn Dean; other relatives and friends: Bishop George Thompson and family, Bishop Brice and Elvira Thompson and family, Bishop Franklyn Ferguson and family, Bishop Romeo Ferguson and family, Deacon Herman McClain, Celestine Cartwright, Diana Darville, The Church of God of Prophecy family in Mortimer’s and Burnt Ground, Long Island, The Dean family, the Adderley Family, the Major Family, the Mortimer’s Family, the Watson Family, the Cartwright Family, the staff and doctor at the Deadman’s Cay Clinic, and the entire Long Island community especially Mortimer’s Long Island.

Viewing will be held at the Church in Burnt Ground from 5:00 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday.
