Funeral Service For
Preston King, 80 a resident of Roberts Drive, Bamboo Town and formerly of Dumphrey's Cat Island will be held on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ The King Anglican Church, Ridgeland Park West. Officiating will be The Venerable Archdeacon I. Ranfurly Brown assisted by Canon Curtis Robinson and Fr. Whitfield Hutcheson. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Rd.
Left to cherish his legacy are his children: David King Forbes, Paulette King Nixon, Iva King Bain, Louise King Brice, Keith King, Craig King and Denise King Ferguson; adopted children: King Johnson, Sidney Henfield and Deborah Deleveaux; granddaughters: Shenika and Crystal Forbes, Althea King, Pasha Bethell, Audra McDonald, Dakota and Lashan King, Danielle Ferguson, Dominica and Latisha Rolle and Gemma King; grandsons: Valentino and Cairo King, Cordeiro and Rashad Nixon, Gawain Bain, Atwill Ferguson II and Derrick Dawkins; great-grandchildren: Keiajah Knowles, Raju Saunders, Arianna Bain, Cordia Nixon, Jaleya McDonald, Ishad and Imariah Rolle, Alexander Roker, Hughniquea and Donisha Ferguson, Davia Williams, Trevonne and Trevonte Miller; sons-in-law: Audley Bain, Charles Brice and Atwill Ferguson; daughters-in-law: Lana Forbes, Cheryl and Eutamae King and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may pay their last respects at Gateway Memorial Funeral Chapel/Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mount Royal Ave. and Talbot Street, on Friday 5th September, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
