Funeral service for Gladys Gertrude Sears, 89 yrs., a resident of Fowler Street South & formerly of West End, Grand Bahama, will be held at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market & Vesey Streets, on Friday 12th September, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Stephen E Thompson, assisted by Rev. Brazil McDonald, Deacon Colin Thompson & other Ministers. Interment follows in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.

Left to cherish precious memories of her: Six Sons: Charles Sears, Reginald Sears, Wellington Sears, Keith Taylor, Gaswell Lockhart, Jean Sears. Daughters: Brenda Rahming, Omes Lockhart-Lightbourne, Sandra Ferguson (Deceased), Joanne Lockhart-Smith (Deceased), Lena Smith (Deceased). Daughters in Law: Maria Sears, Louise Sears, Miriam Taylor, and Michelle Sears. Son in Law: Hilgrove Lightbourne. Adopted Son: Michael (Clay) Thomas.
