Funeral service for Winifred Louise Carey, age 85 of Jamaica Avenue, Elizabeth Estates will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at. St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church, Bernard Road, Fox Hill. Officiating will be Fr. Junior Calixte. Interment will follow in The Church’s Cemetery.
Left to cherish her memories are her Four Children: Bernard Greene, Roosevelt Carey, Nancy Louise Carey and Michelle Louise Carey; Stepson: Romell Bodie; Sister: Ruth Stuart; Brother-in-law: Hewitt Stuart; Five grandchildren: Portia Ramsey- Brown (Stephen Brown), Dellarese Ramsey, Keno Ramsey (Nathalie Ramsey), Schavardo Arnette(Tonya Arnette) and Wendell Ramsey; Eight great grandchildren: Demetius Ramsey, Tarez Ramsey, Byron Payne, Denair Ramsey, Maranique Knowles, Shanderia Brown, Keano Ramsey and Schavardo Arnette Jr.; Three great-great-grandchildren: Demetria and Demetrius Ramsey and Byron Payne Jr.; Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: Viola Sweeting- Butler and Valerie Thompson; a host of other relatives including: The Bethel family, The Johnson family, Cumberbatch family, The Heastie family, The Carter, The Lotmore family and Ms. Elenor Johnson and family; Special friends including: Lydia Addreley, Eva Thompson, Ms. Bertha, Ms. Glo, Mrs. Lena Williams, Ms. Erma, Ms. Ida, Ms. Vernie, Mr. Donald, Barbara Bowe, Mary Knowles, Margaret Knowles, Ms. Jones , The Bowe Family, Elvia Hart and Maude Henry and many others to numerous to mention.
The body will repose in the Blessed Redeemer Chapel at Ferguson’s Funeral Directors, 7th Terrace Collins Avenue, on Friday from 10:00a.m. - 5: 00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
