Funeral Service for Loran Bradfield Turnquest, age 61 years, a resident of Breadfruit Street, formerly of Deadman’s Cay, Long Island, will be held at All Saints on Calvary Hill Anglican Church, Joan Heights, on Saturday September 20th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Stephen Davies assisted by Canon S. Sebastian Campbell and Rev. Fr. Berkley Smith. Interment will follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Fox Hill Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Sherry Turnquest; son: Loran Turnquest; daughter: Renette Turnquest; stepson: Amal Henfield; four grandchildren: Lawrence and Zavin Turnquest, Aaliyah Munnings and Grayson Smith; father: Harrod Turnquest, siblings: Douglas, Velma, Esther and Barbara Turnquest, Karen Turnquest Smith, Audley and Jason Turnquest and Aspacia Fox; aunts: Euturpie Thompson and Agatha Sands, Betty and Lorraine Turnquest; uncles: Everette, Reuben and Jefferson Turnquest; mother-in-law: Isula Henfield; brothers-in-law: Roy Smith and Andrew Fox, Jeffrey, Alexander and Jason Henfield, Clement Williams II, Noel Farquharson and Denzil Taylor; sisters-in-law: Angeline and Catherine Turnquest, Vivian, Audra and Shannon Henfield, Delerese Williams, Audrey Farquharson, and Drucilia Taylor; nephews: Edward Cartwright, Angelo, Brian, Michael and Darren Kyran Turnquest, Floyd Beneby, Antonio and Matori Turnquest, Audley Turnquest Jr.and Rashad Moree, Raven and Tyler Fox and Rovaughn Turnquest, Jeffrey, Lawrence, Khalin, Christian, Sergio, Servado, Alex, Brendon, Jason Jr. and Jamond Henfield, Carvey Ferguson Jr., Clement Williams III, Kevin Farquharson, Tokeem, Kishawn and Aaron Taylor; nieces: Chereece Dorsett, Felicia Hanna, Rosena Turnquest, Ketra, Indira, Kentavia, and Jatazia Henfield, Shanaque and Olivia Fullford, Shaniqua Ferguson, Clementia and Alexis Williams, Kevinique and Kevonna Farquharson and Aaronique Taylor; eight grandnephews; seven grandnieces; and a host of other relatives and friend including: Gail Turnquest, the Turnquest, McCardy, Henfield and Musgrove families, staff at A&A Comfort Care especially: Linda and Donna, the staff at Pinder’s Customs Brokerage, Canon Sebastian Campbell and Mrs. Campbell, Fr. Stephen Davies and Mrs. Davies, Fr. Berkley Smith and Mrs. Smith, the All Saints Church family, Patricia Morgan, the Long Island community and many other too numerous to mention.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Friday September 19th, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday September 20th, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
