Funeral Service for the Late Amanda Gertrude Johnson, 77 of Butler’s Way, will be held on Saturday April 4th, 2015, 12:30 p.m. at Mission Through Faith Church of God, Soldier Road East. Bishop Benjamin Gibson assisted by Bishop Lindo Wallace and Reverend Carroll Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Rupert W. Johnson and her parents, Miriam and Lloyd Williams Sr.
Left to cherish her fond and precious memories are her Daughter: Elease Johnson-Jenkins; Son-in-law: Kelvin O. Jenkins; Granddaughters: Nicole and Amanda Jenkins of Nashville, Tennessee; Sisters: Ancel Knowles, Mary Collie and Laurencene McSweeny; Brothers: Rev. Dr. Charles Williams of Nashville Tennessee, and Lloyd Franklin Williams; Sisters-in-law: Elease Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, Alice Johnson, Amanda Williams, Charlotte Williams, Christine Johnson, Sabrina Johnson of Cat Island and Leonie Johnson; Brothers-in-law: Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34 Nassau Street on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until service.
