Funeral Service for James Alexander Wells, age 81, of Gray’s, Long Island will be held on Saturday, August 15th 2015 at 10:00a.m. at St. Theresa’s Anglican Church, Gray’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Canon Harry Ward. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Burial Union Burial Society Cemetery, Gray’s, Long Island.
He is survived by his two sons: Matthew and Mark Wells; two brothers: Franklyn and McKinley Wells; five sisters: Edna Fox, Loraine Cartwright, Renentia (Nancy) Lee, Violet Cartwright and Hazel Wells; one granddaughter: India Wells; one aunt: Ermie Cartwright; other relatives including: Pastor Allan Lee, Winston Cartwright, Randolph Wells, Harold Wells, Vincent Wells and MacDonald Wells; Ethelyn Wells, Cheryl Wells, Barbara Wells, Ruth Knowles; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Viewing will be held at the Church on Friday from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Arrangements are being handled by Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot St., Nassau, Bahamas.
