Funeral Service for Bruce Knowles, age 80 years, of Long Cay, Acklins, will be held on Saturday December 12, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., at Grace Communion International, Lumumba Road off Fox Hill Road. Officiating will be Pastor Robert W.T. McKinney. Cremation will follow.
Memories of Daddy will be cherished and remembered by his wife: Clothilda Knowles; four sons: Garland, Hilroy, Philip and Julian Knowles; one daughter: Deedee Knowles; adopted daughter: Deborah Knowles; grandchildren: Glonevia, Garland Jr., Gamisha, Garlington, Garlton, Gabriel, Gideon, and Grayland Knowles, Denae, Tiajh, Trevon and Dedrigh Thompson; two brothers: Ruben and Walter Knowles; sisters-in-law: Catherine and Lean Knowles and Leah Moss; daughter-in-law: Tresia Knowles; son-in-law: Robin Thompson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends in Acklins especially the Henderson, Moss and Knowles families in Long Cay, Acklins.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Friday December 11, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday December 12, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
