Funeral service for the late Eldora Stubbs age 78 years of Orange Creek, Cat Island, who died on 25th January, 2015, will be held on Saturday, 7th February, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., at Great Bethel Methodist Church, Orange Creek, Cat Island. Officiating will be Rev. Manette Poitier-Cripps, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in the Public Cemetery, Orange Creek, Cat Island. Cherished memories will remain in the hearts of her: One Brother: Wilmore Stuart Sr.; One Sister: Evelyn Seymour; One Nephew: Wilmore Stuart Jr.; One Grand Nephew: Wilmore Stuart III; Three Grand Nieces: Jessica, Teresha and Shantae Stuart; Cousins including: Dorothy Bowe and Family, Lavina, Irene and James Cambridge, Alphonso and Enid Cambridge, The Stuart, Thurston and Newbold Families, Irene Ramsey, Coralee Turner, The Stubbs, Bowles, Burrows, Munnings, Teddymae McDonald, The Seymour, Cleare, Poitier and Bain Families, Rev. Manette Poitier-Cripps, the North Cat Island Burial Society, Great Bethel Methodist Church, Kate Thurston, Rev . Vernice Storr, Rev. Newbold, Eula Hepburn, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Campbell, The entire Staff of Orange Creek Clinic, , Katie Thurston, the entire Orange Creek and Arthur’s Town Community, Newbold Brothers Chapel, especially William Newbold, and other family and friends too numerous to mention. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street, off Market and East Streets on Friday, from 9:00 a.m., until 12:00 noon, then, on Friday at the church in Cat Island from 6:00 p.m., until service time.
