Funeral service for
Retired Nurse Aladice Strachan Jones, 62

a resident of Stax Ave., Nassau Village & formerly of Bennetts Harbour, Cat Island, will be held at Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church, Prince Charles Drive, on Sunday 4th January, 2015 at 12:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Pastor Leonardo Rahming, assisted by Pastor Eric D. Clarke & Pastor Michael Toote.  Interment follows in Lakeview  Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.
 
She is survived by her four children: Sivle Seymour, Algernon Jones, Rodger Knowles and Shannae Newbold; two brothers: Ray Strachan and Kenneth Duncombe; one sister: Sivlean Brown; three grandchildren:   Khalia, Algerron and Ashantae; adopted brother: Elridge Edwards; one son in law: Edwin Seymour; one  brother-in-law: Euthal Brown; seven sisters-in-law: Eunice and Lucille Strachan, Joyce, Ruth and Peggy, Jayann and Renae
adopted children: Gina, Dave, Shawn, Jason, Rhonda, Lacoya, Bergetha, Gomez, and Marcellas;
numerous nieces and nephews: Sivlean, Sharon, Helena, Marilyn, Brenda, Susan, Raquel, Tennille, Juliette, Glenroy, Hartman, Garth, Benjamin, Calvin, Ray, Garret, Abdul and Nathaniel;
numerous cousins including: Caroline, Marina, Elizabeth, Florence, Carmetta, Evelyn, Stanley, Barbara, Helen, Ruth, Wendy, Cyprianna, Garneth, Everette, Tyrone, Francina, Delcine, Olga, Teddy, Johnny, George, Delores, Christine and Deanne, Joseph, Arabella, Grace, Chris, Betty

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 9-5:00 p.m. on Saturday & on Sunday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
