Anthony “Busta” Phillip Sturrup

Funeral service for Anthony Phillip “Busta” Sturrup, age 53 years of Lincoln Boulevard, will be held on Sunday, January 11th at 1:00 p.m. at Hillview Seventh Day Adventist Church, Tonique Williams Darling Highway. Officiating will be Pastor Basil Sturrup, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving parents: Jack and Eloise Sturrup; eleven brothers: Charles, Carlos, Jack II, Stanford, William, HMP Sgt. Timothy, RBPF Sgt. Barry, Bradley, Dwayne, Percy and Shavon Sturrup; seven sisters: Iretta Sturrup, Marilyn Brown, Laverne Sturrup, Donna Hepburn, Audrey White, Patricia Mansell, and Maryanne Williams; one brother-in-law: Terrene Brown Sr.; nine sisters-in-law: Ruby, Sally, Royanne, Carroll, Zina, Laverne, Donetha, Bertha and Sharon Sturrup; one aunt: Helen Ambrister; forty-two nephews: Anton, McLaren, Cranston, Shavoughn, Chipparro, Sylvano, Desario, Deanthony, Terrence Jr., Jamal, Jack III, Jonathon, Carlos Jr., Stanford Jr., Deangelo, Andre, Jamarro, William Jr., Barry Jr., Bradley Jr., Ryan, Aystin, Astin, Dwayne Jr., Daniel, Jacano, Trevor, Benjamin, Jael, Charles Jr., Norman, Lawrence, Ethan, Dannie, Lenard, Quincy, Felicio, Chadwell, Layerio, Frisco, Latario, and Tamar; twenty-five nieces: Adassa, Chandra, Jessica, Staff Nurse Sherrell, Stacy, Aisha, Teryl, Lynette, Crystal, Tamarah, Staff Nurse Kristin, Angelica, Indera, Delta, Jordanique, Arianna, Brittany, Tamara, Shantavia, Latoya, Leanna, Ebony, Kimberly, Sophia and Ivanna; numerous cousins ; other relatives and friends including: Dwight Williams and family, Winifred Sturrup and family, Keva Hepburn and family, The Seventh Day Adventist Church Family, The United Christian Cathedral Family, St. Agnes Anglican Church Family, The Brown Family, The Beckford Family, and The entire Lincoln Boulevard Family.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Saturday January 10, 2015 from 11:00a.m. until 3:30p.m and at the church on Sunday from 12 noon until service time.
