Funeral Service for Ida Rebecca Johnson, age 89 years, of Comfort Homes, Pinewood Gardens, will be held at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Kemp Road, at 11:00a.m. on Saturday January 10, 2015. Officiating will be The Rev’d Fr. Oswald E. Pinder and other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her memories are: her son: Blaze Johnson; grandchildren: Dr. Sean Ramsey, Sophie and Cerone Ramsey, Chazwick, Blaze Jr., Micahiah, and Vonnace Johnson; great granddaughter: Rhea Costella Ramsey; sister: Ivis Cartwright; nieces: Johanne Singletery and Maxine Humes of Miami, Florida, Linda Maillis of Kalymnos, Greece, Marilyn Watson, Dianne Turnquest, and Bernadette Fox; nephews: Stanley Major of Miami, Florida, Ivan and Albert Cartwright, Mark and Stanley George Major; sister-in-law Enid Major; daughter-in-law: Yvone Johnson; son-in-law: Fred Ramsey; her step children: Mary Brown and family, Antoinette Cooke and family, Jacqueline Silva and family, Pauline Outten and family, and David Johnson and family; numerous grandnieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends including: Blanche Johnson, Alma Oliver, Ricardo Rolle, Paul Frazier, Elridge Fritz, and Dianne Fritz Miller and family.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butler’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday, January 9th, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
