Funeral Service for Mr. John Arlington “Governor” Deveaux, age 62 years a resident of Millenium Gardens will be held on Saturday July 11th 2015, 11:00 a.m., Arrow of Deliverance Church, Cox Way, East Street, South. Officiating will be Bishop Luther Thurston assisted by Pastor Barbara L. Rahming , Pastor Lawrence Lightbourne and other ministers of the gospel. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to celebrate life and carry on his legacy are his beautiful wife: Ludell Deveaux; beautiful daughter: Jonell Deveaux; Seven (7) children he loved as his own: Adrian, Anastacia, Donella, Deandra, Dominique, Shakira, and Jarvis; Two (2) Step Daughters: Alice and Sharita; Sixteen (16) Grandchildren: Deon, Shavonne,Marvar, Rodricka, Dashone, Emma, Ashanti, Raynell, Fantasia, Rodrick, Aliyah, Paris, Adrianna, “Daniyah”, Delon, Aciyah; Two (2) Great-Grand Children: Lavonne and Shazariah; Two (2) Sisters: Charmine Poitier and Raquel Deveaux; Two (2) Brothers: Tyrone and James Deveaux; Four (4) Aunts: Mary Wilchombe, Gloria Delancy (of Freeport, Grand Bahama), Daisy and Ivy Hepburn; One (1) Uncle: George Thomas Arthur; Sixteen (16) Nieces: Shavonya, Latonya, Tyreka, Lavanda, Tajah, Chemise, Valdez, Fantasia, Jamecia, Brittney, Charmaine, Deandra, Raquel Ferguson, Shantell Minnis, Vernita, and Shaneka Johnson, Lashana and Lanisha; Thriteen (13) Nephews: Lavardo, Tevon, Sean, Anthony Jr., Bryton, Keanu, Robin, Tavaris, Calvin, Jervin, kenwitt, Jahleel, and Kirk Price; Four (4) Grand Nieces; Seven (7) Grand Nephews; Numerous Cousins including: Minister Obediah, Christopher, and Richard Wilchombe, Chuckie, Vernon, Lyden, and Dereck Delancy, Jacqueline Ramsey, Minister Bernard and Portia Nottage, Amanda, Susan, Alice, Sandra, Nancy, Hellener, Paula, Ankershine, Kingsley, Philip, Harry, Otis, and Samuel Arthur, Denise Arthur Adderley, Patrick Anthony, Kevin and Gerald Arthur, Paul Dorsette, Chriskna, Terry, Judith, Jackie, Noralyn, Lynette, Marsha, Major, and Wayde; Four (4) Sisters-In-Law: Valderine Deveaux, Terry Harris, Linda douglas, and Betty Storr; One (1) Daughter-In-Law: Paulette Forbes;

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home & Crematorium, Robinson Road and First Street on Thursday from 12 noon to 6pm and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
