Funeral Service for Deaconess Bernice Anna McKenzie-Poitier, age 92 of Golden Gates Estates #1 and formerly of New Bight, Cat Island who died on Monday, July 6th, 2015 will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Native Baptist Church, New Bight, Cat Island.  Officiating will be Bishop Dr. Philemon Wilson and Pastor Vernis Storr, assisted by other Ministers of The Gospel.  Interment will follow in New Bight Public Cemetery.

She is survived by: Three Sons: Orthnel Poitier, Bishop Dr. Philemon Wilson and Catechist Cedrick Wilson; Three Daughters: Elizabeth Hepburn, Sabiletha Poitier and Olga Poitier-Wilson; Three Daughters-In-Law: Betty & Dorothy Poitier, Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at the Church from 7:30 p.m. on Friday until service time on Saturday.
