Funeral Service for Judy Mae Lord age 59 years and a resident of #212 Gough Lane, Freeport and formerly of Nassau will be held on Saturday 28th, March 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, East Sunrise Highway. Officiating will be Father David Cooper. Interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park #2, Frobisher Drive.
Judy was predeceased by her father: Wilson Pinder; brother: John Knowle-Bethel and two children: Jamico and Latoya.
Cherished memories are held by her loving husband: Anthony Lord; children: Shamiko Pinder (Doranell Greene) and Krystal (Keith) Taylor; mother: Annie Knowles-Sands; grandchildren: Shamiko Devante Pinder, Emery Lockhart, Taniya Missick, Khloe Taylor and Kameron Pinder; siblings: Fredricka (Fredrick) Swain, David Knowles, janet (Patrick) Maycock, Gary (Wendy) Pinder, Mervyn (Adeline) Knowles, Sheldon Bethel and Patricia (PJ) Stuart; mother-in-law: Dorothy Carey; aunts: Loretta Laing and Fairdoll Laing Cooper; uncle: Walter Laing; sisters and brothers in-laws: Theresa (David) Long, Paul and Mark Lord, Dale McIntosh and Sahron Grant-Coleby; nieces: Helena (Ulysses) Williams, Aretha (Tracy) Wellons, Doralee (Richard) Little, Shantell (Delroy) Swann, Tamiko Jones, Kimberly (Antonio) Cartwright, Gia Ramsey, Antoinette Knowles and Donya Pinder; nephews: Ken and Devard Wilkinson, Craig and Lincoln Williams, Solomon Johnson, Mervyn Jr., R’Jonne and Dylan Knowles, Gary and Dondre Pinder, Jason, Terence, Damien, Darril, Bradley (Elyse) and Marco Lord, Kevin (Winslownette), Sean and Justin Rolle and Mark Dillette; classmate and childhood friend Christine Bain, Sylvie Carey, Pamela Roxbury, god-daughter Monisha Rolle, Val Rolle, Verne Gibbs-Marshall, Suzette Culmer, Manny Wallace, Ralph Gooding, classmate Debbie Munnings, Samantha Italiano, Prisca Taylor and families, the Staff of Royal Bank of Canada, the nurses and patients of the Kidney Center, the ICU staff of Doctors Hospital, the officers of the Bahamas Department of Corrections, especially “B” Division and the SAC Graduating Class of 1973 and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queen’s Highway on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
