A funeral service for Mrs. Winifred Mae Roberts, 85 of Nassau, The Bahamas, will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 17th October, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Terry Carty will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald; brothers, Vincent, Harold and Edward Cates.
She is survived by her daughter, De’Ann Darville; son-in-law, Treven Darville; son Stephen Roberts; daughter-in-law, Betty Roberts; grandson, Stewart Roberts; granddaughter-in-law, Kelly Roberts; great grandson, Westley Roberts; great grand daughter, Brooklyn Roberts; sister, Jennie Stewart; brother-in-law, Donald Stewart; sisters-in-law, Beverly Roberts and Mary Sawyer; nieces and nephews, Shelley Leonard, Stacey Green, Marie Pinder, Winifred Albury, James Cates, John Cates, Henry Roberts, Stephanie Treco, Mary Parks, Thomas Albury, Gregory Albury, Karen Sands, John Hall, Arnold Hall, Wayne Hall, Faye Charlow and Phyllis Lowe; caregivers Iyana (Nina) Bent, Sandra Morgan, Beryl Loriston Johnson and many other relatives and close friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, Nassau, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to the Soup Kitchen, Ebenezer Methodist Church, P.O. Box S.S. 6145, Nassau in memory of Mae Roberts.
