Memorial Service for the Late Bishop Dr. Teuton C. Stubbs, M.B.E, aged 82 years of #9 Park Way, Gleniston Gardens and formerly of Orange Creek, Cat Island, will be held on Friday October 23rd, 2015, 7:00 p.m. at Southland Church of God, Soldier Road West. Bishop Goliath Burrows, Bishop Dr. Joseph Smith assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel will officiate.

Funeral Service for the Late Bishop Dr. Teuton C. Stubbs, M.B.E, aged 82 years of #9 Park Way, Gleniston Gardens and formerly of Orange Creek, Cat Island, will be held on Saturday October 24th, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Church of God Convention Centre, Joe Farrington Road. Bishop Moses Johnson assisted by Bishop Carlton Stuart, Bishop Dr. Joseph Smith and other Ministers of the Gospel will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

Bishop Stubbs is survived by accomplished retired Bahamian Educator, his wife of 57 years, the beautiful and serene, Helena Eleanor  Elaine Stubbs (nee Stuart).  He is also survived by his five children, Rev. Dr. Henderson B. Stubbs, JP., Associate Pastor, Southland Cathedral Church of God; Sidney M. Stubbs, (Cantab.), JP., Former Member of Parliament for Holy Cross;  Antonio Stubbs, former Senior Vice President at BTC/Cable & Wireless;  Assistant Professor and Head of Department, Pamela Collins; and Dr. Kayla Stubbs-Moore.  He is predeceased by his son, Kenlyn Stubbs.  He is also survived by one daughter-in-law, Janice Stubbs; two sons-in-law, Dr. Ken Collins and Seron Moore.  One adopted son, Dr Franklyn Ferguson, JP; and one adopted daughter-in-law, Olean Ferguson; six  grand children; Henderson Jr., Javier, Jodenia, Antwahn, Antoinnea and Christian.  Five adopted grand children; Tyrell, Franklyn Jr., Tennielle, Adrian and Jennifer.  Also left to cherish his memories are Sisters: Verdell Pinder and Leola Johnson. Brothers:  Christopher Stubbs, William Stubbs and Wentworth Stubbs. Brothers-In-Law:  Ivan Stuart, Retired Family Island Administrator, John Clayton Stuart. Sisters-In-Law: Cathleen Stubbs, Olivia Bowles, Cynthia Stuart, Lauretta Edwards, Annie Nora Burrows, Coral, and Inez Stubbs.
Bishop Stubbs is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Adopted Children: Ann and Shawn Dawkins; Angie and Ashley Campbell. Godchildren:  Sherla Rolle, Jacqueline Lightbourne, Jennifer and Teddymae Bain. Other relatives:  the Poitiers, the Newbolds, the Stuarts, the McDonalds, the Turners, the Seymour's, the Kings, the Thompsons and all of the Stubbs Family. Special Friends:  Retired Senior Justice Joseph Strachan, Dr. Richard E. & Iris Dean and Family, Bishop Samuel Greene, Rev. Alfred Stewart, Rev. Timothy Stewart, Bishop V.G. & Beverley Clarke, Bishop Simeon Hall, Bishop Ross Davis, His Grace Bishop Laish Boyd, Bishop Elgarnet Rahming, Pastor Genius Wells, Bishop Albert Hepburn, Bishop Philemon Wilson, Rev. Dr. Philip McPhee, Pastor Jay Simms, Bishop Dr. Joseph Smith and all Ministers of the Church of God. Other Friends include:  Dr. Rodney Smith, Mr. Cecil Longley, Hon. Darrell E. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #44 Nassau Street, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Convention Centre from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
