A funeral service for the late Mrs. Gloria Cynthia Hamilton, age 79, of Marathon Estates, Nassau, The Bahamas, who passed away peacefully at her residence, on Thursday, 27th August, 2015, will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 62 Collins Avenue, Nassau,on Saturday,5th September, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

Pastor Thomas Albury will officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road, Nassau.
 
She was predeceased by her son, Lavelle Hamilton and is survived by her husband, Hubert Alexander Hamilton; daughters, Nadene Joachim and Monique Turnquest; son, Earle Hamilton; grandsons, Evan, Chase & Adrian Joachim and Tylere Hamilton; granddaughters, Jenneil, Ashley, Cymone & Alexis Hamilton and Anaya Morgan Smith; great-granddaughter,  Daliah Hamilton-Knowles; brothers, Calvin Marshall, Velton Marshall and Ira (Harry) Marshall; sisters, Hyacinth Lee and Delsie Coke; son-in-law, Kevin Joachim; daughters-in-law, Lorraine & JoAnne Hamilton; mother-in-law, Sarah Peters; sisters-in-law, Nelsie Montague, Jennifer Peters, Elaine Simpson, Martha Peters, Olive Marshall and Ena Marshall; brothers-in-law, Corville Peters, Kersley Peters, Stephen Montague, Barry Simpson, Errol Lee and Kenneth Coke; numerous nieces and nephews including, Drs. Earle and Herma Marshall, Leroy and Maxine DaCosta, Nikki, Yuen and Amilcar Lee; numerous other relatives and friends including, Joseph and Paula Brown and Family, Gloria Crawford and Family, Selvin and Melvina Estwick, Bateman and Cynthia Bain and Family, Tracey and Lorraine Strachan, Doreen Burgess, Shirley Adams, Mathew and Morfydd Williams, Charles and Valda Hunt, Lloyd and Sharon Turnquest, Claudia Bain and Family, Nellie Currie, Collin & Karen Brown, Retired Nurse Ann Rolle, Former Minister Earle Deveaux and family, Dr. Cedric and Dorothy Lynch, Geddes and Suzette Hislop, Pastors and Members of Calvary Bible Church including Pastor Roland and Peggy Bryan, Former Members of Staff at H.O. Nash Junior School, Former Members of Staff at Jordon Prince William School.

The family also wishes to thank The Staff of the Princess Margaret Oncology Ward, Dr. Christine Chin, Dr. Williamson Chea, Dr. Paul Ramphal, Dr. Duvaughn Curling, Dr. Harold Munnings, and Dr. Elizabeth Darville.
 
 
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Society of the Bahamas, P.O. box S.S. 6539, Nassau, in memory of Gloria Cynthia Hamilton.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m. and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
