Home going service for the late Elicienne Benoit Devalon, age 74, a resident of Rock Sound Eleauthera and formerly of St. Louis-Da Nord, Haiti will be held on Saturday 19th September 2015 at 10:00am at Church of Christ, Highbury Park. Officiating will be Evangelist Lincoln Young assisted by Evangelist Keith Beneby. Interment will follow in the Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Road
She is survived by Daughters: Floria Devalon-Sweeting and Betty Rolle. Sons: Rolan and Lucien Benoit. Sons in Law: Vince Sweeting and Franz Rolle, Daughters in Law: Eva Mackey, Claudia and Cheerce Benoit. Grand Children: Elicia Knowles and Abria Sweeting, Hubert Ramsey, Drexel Major, Vanessa Saunders, Leo, Javon, Brandon McSweeney, Franz Jr., Cameron and Nathan Rolle, Schki, Luciano Benoit and Rodland and Widland Benoit. Sisters: Ismene Benoit and Edna Vassor. Brother in Law: Junior Vassor, Sisters in Law: Deliverance Benoit, Madona and Camelita Devalon of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Nieces: Rene (Terry) Burrell, Janet, Nancy, Gabriel, Sheila, Mariah Tata, Yma Petit-Jeune and Monique June Nephews: John (wife Deborah) Deleveaux, Odrick (wife Angelic) Benoit, Harold Deleveaux, Barnett Jean and Steroson Vassor. Friends may pay their last respects at Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Centre/Gateway Funeral Home Mt. Royal and Talbot Street on Friday from 11am to 6pm and at the church on Saturday from 8:45 to service time.
