Funeral service for the late Menerva Bonimy-Thompson aged 79
affectionately called "Mar"

of Dumfries, Cat Island, who died on 20th March, 2016, will be held on Saturday, 2nd April, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at St. George’s Anglican Church, Montrose Avenue. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Ernest Pratt, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road. Cherished memories will always linger in the hearts of her Children; Four Daughters: Dorothy and Zerlene Thompson, Sharon Armbrister and Nurse Rose Saunders; Five Sons: Sidney Farrington, Leviticus Sr., and Michael Armbrister, Kevin and Cedric Campbell; Thirty-three Grandchildren: Omar Stubbs, Latoya Knowles (Addington), Rilando Thompson (Avia), Antoine, Scotty and Seiko Farrington (Richadetta), Indera, Leviticus Jr., and Lavette Armbrister, Quincy and Raquell Thompson, Anthony, Dion and Shonell Hepburn, Jaretta Strachan, Javone Edden (Leandro), Jamaine Higgs, Marshanique, McKell and Mark Jr., Saunders, Dwanesha, Deandra and Dwain Jr., Dean, Andric, Cedric Jr., Kevin Jr., Kevanique Campbell, Michael Jr., and Jonathan Armbrister, Samantha McKenzie, Tamico and Renaldo Black; Twenty Great Grand Children; Five Daughters-in-law: Sharon Farrington, Kayla and Deborah Armbrister, Claudella and Anastacia Campbell; Two Sons-in-law: Mark Saunders and Dwain Dean; Nieces and Nephews including: Delrona Newbold, Wendell, Alkmund, Dennis Britton, Gifford, Chad, Albert Wilbert Bonimy, Linda, Romelda, Robert, Vernie and Perlamae Stubbs, Grace, Branhilda, Proline, Berth, Emmie, Judy, Brendlyn, Betty Bell, Joycelyn, Prescola, Melony Preann Thompson, Emily, Freddy, Nelson, Anthony Dawkins, Denise and Ann Newbold; Other Relatives and Friends including: Rosie Smith’s Family, Oswald Poitier, Rudy Stubbs, Irene King and siblings, Paul King and siblings, Paula Romer, the late Carlton King Family, the late Beatrice Gaitor Family, Mr. Edmond Stubbs, The Hon Philip Brave Davis (Member of Parliament for Cat Island, Rum Cay & San Salvador); Mr. Reuben Stubbs, Mr. Fritz Stubbs and Family, Milton Smith, Iva Ambrose and Family, Troy, Craig, Beautiny King and Family, Eula King, Charles King and Family, Delcina Stubbs and Family, Louise Saunders and Family, Fr. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street off Market and East Streets, on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m., until service time.
