Funeral Service for Ms. Thelma Mary “T.D.” Deveaux, age 77 years, of Sea Breeze Lane, will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2016, 1:45 p.m., at Our Lady’s Roman Catholic Church, Deveaux and Young Streets. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. William Quiamjot and assisted by Deacon Maxwell Johnson. Interment will be made in the Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday April 7th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Philip Stubbs.
She is survived by her: Sisters: Irene Deveaux, Peggy Weech, and Catherine Buchanan; brother: Robert Deveaux; nieces: Schell Stubbs (Philip), Jill Ward (Patrick), Julie Buchanan, Gia Ferguson (James), Shinida McKenzie (Neve, Sr.,), and Alicia Deveaux; nephews: Sean Deveaux, Shai Knowles, Julian Buchanan and Cornelius Deveaux; grandnieces: Sundaya Lewis (Donovan), Kandice Strachan, Lynsey Ward, Sienne Stubbs, Shea Stubbs, Dazgia Moss, Shandi Stubbs, Jade Ferguson and Jhemma Ferguson; grandnephews: Gyles Ward, Akheem Deveaux, Corey Deveaux and Christian Deveaux; great grandniece: Sunae Lewis; great grandnephews: Kennon Forbes, Daylon Lewis, Neve McKenzie Jr. and Ethan McKenzie; Godchildren: a large group of young adults today, who from birth were special to Thelma. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Friday from 12noon to 6 p.m., and on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12noon, and at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
