Funeral Service for Evelyn Louise Cartwright age 84 years #167 Orange Close, Freeport and formerly of Hard Bargain, Long Island will be held on Saturday 16th, April ,2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, East Sunrise Highway. Officiating will be Father David Cooper and interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park, Frobisher Drive.
Left to cherish her fond memories of her are one son: Patrick Cartwright; six daughters: Sylvia, Christine and Carol Cartwright, Marilyn Clarke, Nora Cooper and Kayla Predelus; two daughters-in-law: Willacine and Jackie Cartwright; three sons-in-law: Herbert Clarke, Osborne Cooper Jr., and Reina Predelus; 21 grandchildren: Cpl. 2475 Terrence Cartwright, Daziano, Dialo, Dorian, Delano, Gerard, and Patrinique Cartwright, Jamaal Ferguson, Natasha Chatelain, Shantel Russell, Carvel and Neil Rolle, Keneka Woodside, Nordaina and Osborne Cooper III, Heidi Swann, Dewhitney Farrington, Ryan and Kallista Predelus, Herbert and Christopher Clarke; three granddaughters -in-law: Danica, Cherise and W/Cpl.2861 Desiree Cartwright; 25 great grandchildren, 8 sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends including: Etta Ewing and Family, Muriel Parker, Jan Knowles and Family, Sylvera Cooper and Family, Mr & Mrs Rahming, Mr & Mrs Pratt, the Martinborough Family, the Taylor Family, the Cartwright Family, the Cooper Family, the Burrows Family, the Major Family, Sandy Sawyer and Management & Staff of Sawyers Fresh Market, Management & Staff of Mulligans Meat & Spices 1 & 2, Management & Staff of Jarol Investments Ltd and Commonwealth Bank Ltd, Management and Staff of Royal Islander Hotel, Shiloh Baptist Church Family, New Life Worship Center Family and The Anglican Church Family, the Doctors of the Accident & Emergency Department and the Medical Ward of the Rand Memorial Hospital.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queens Highway on Friday from 12:00 noon until Service time and at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
