Final Rites and Burial for the late Mr. Lenox Alexander “Hitman” Cartwright , Age 92yrs, a resident of #30 Flax Terrace off Malcolm Road West, will be held at The New Bethlehem Baptist Church Independence Drive, on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Everette J. Brown, and other Ministers of the Gospel and Interment in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.

He was predeceased by His wife: Bessie Cartwright, daughters: Shelia and Lenora Cartwright, grandchildren: Tovar, Lydia, Quincy and Clifford Cartwright Jr. and Deshanna Butler, his parents and all of his siblings.
Left to cherish his precious memories are his twelve children and spouses: Frank and Andrea; Maxwell; Minister Herbert and Deaconess Corene; Leviticus and Olivia; Kenneth; Robert; Albert; Clifford and Susan ; Preston and Makalya Cartwright; Evangelist Hellena and Floyd Seymour; Theresa and Minister Cecil Higgs and Patrice Cartwright. 39 Grandchildren: Kia, Petra, Latika, Louise, Esther, Owen, Cordero, Ashley, Jerome, Tu-Ron, Terran, Tarri (Jahrine), Deangelo, Amoree, Brionna, Robyn, Lacarvin, Preston Jr, Jaiden, Joshua, Sonovia, and Kaysia Cartwright, Sonia Singleton, Chad Gibson, Natasha and Terrance Rolle, Detective Const 2664 Ryan Deveaux, Detective Cpl. 425 Jermaine and Detective Cpl. 298 Rosnell Butler, Allanique Symonette, Sgt. 1690 Jason and Okeria, Detective Const. 981 Dequent and Samantha, Shamara, Shakeera, and Shakara Higgs, Kenneth Dorset and Detective Const 2808 Gregory Laramore. 56 great grandchildren including Jernise, Liyah, Dante, Skyla, Deashia, Jazmyne, Jairah, Judah, Kaelah, Genesis, Gevariah, Jerona, Jordan, Alexcia, Tenaj, Kelsey, Sierra, Quanell, Treasure and Kai. 5 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law: Corene Davis. 2 brothers-in-law: Charles Hart and Frank Hart of Orlando Fl. Numerous nieces and nephews including: Lenox, Moses, Aaron, Rocklyn, Carlos and Elton Major, Cora Johnson, Philip, Viola, Rudolph, Keith, and Maria Minnis; Jewel Bethel, Renell Neiley, Cheryl Cartwright, Lenora Bethel, Lucy Watson, Maggie Bain, David Dean, Debroah Stuart, Elva Rolle and Queenie Ferguson, Margaret Albury, Nora Major and Kathy, Viola Roxbury, Lenora Davis, Earnestine Miller, Anna Colebrooke, Ellamae Francis, Loneice. The body will repose at the Chapel of the Saints Sweeting’s Colonial Mortuary and Crematorium, #84 Blue Hill Rd. from 10.00 am on Friday until 6:00 pm. At 9:00 am, Saturday at the Church until service time.
