Aline McLaughlin

unknown - unknown

Aline McLaughlin, who has died at age 94, was a staunch supporter of Christ Church Cathedral and beloved member of the Nassau community. The daughter of Effie McLaughlin (nee Barbes) of Matthew Town, Inagua and Chalmers Percival McLaughlin of Cayman Brac, she was raised and was educated at Inagua and Nassau. She was an avid student of history and religion and continued her education with extensive reading and travel. Her business interests included the insurance industry, wherein she acheived professional certification in that pursuit in the mid nineteen eighties.

She was the perfect lady, in all aspects of that word, always considering the feelings and well being of others before herself. Her passing leaves an empty hole in the fabric of life for many of us.
