Former Propertied of Cox & Mable Dry Good Store, Mabel Elsie Cox-Ferguson, age 85 a residence of Lincoln Blvd & Balfour Avenue and formerly of Snug Corner, Acklins, died at her residence on Sunday, August 7th 2016.

She was predeceased by her father and mother: Rev. Alfred K. Cox and Alvina Cox and her husband: Cornelius Ferguson.
She is survived by 4 daughters: Generine Rodgers, Deacon Eulene Williamson, Nurse Berthamae “Liz” Andrews & Remalia Knowles; 2 sons: Kenneth & Preston Ferguson; 3 sons-in-law: Rev. Lindsay Williamson Sr., Vincent Andrews and Elder Leslie Knowles I; 1 adopted brother: Bishop Dexter Kemp of Coco, Florida; 17 grandchildren: Evangelist Kim Saunders, Charmane Rodgers, Shernique (Charles) Knowles, Perez (Alexandria) Rodgers, Chineko (Antonia) Andrews, Lindera Williamson, Leskeina Gastin (Savannah, Georgia); Vinshan Andrews, Lezley (Barry) Hall (Toronto, Canada); Kenyen Ferguson, Lindsay Williamson Jr., Vinessa Andrews, Preston Ferguson Jr., Kendra Ferguson, Leslie Knowles II, Donte Ferguson and Shaquille Williams; 7 great grandchildren: Shibuce, Adrielle and Johnathon Rodgers, Antoine and Chenisia Andrews, Lazario Bastian and Joron Gastin of (Savannah, Georgia); numerous nieces and nephews and a host other relatives including: Francina & Cleveland Hanna, Ellamae & Hilma Ferguson and Annamae Kemp of Coco, Fla.
