Funeral Service for Mabel Elsie Cox-Ferguson, age 85 of Lincoln Blvd., and formerly of Snug Corner, Acklins who died on August 7th 2016 will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Native Baptist Church, Meeting Street. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Richard Hanna, assisted by Rev. Dr. Reginald Ferguson. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

She is survived by her four (4) daughters: Generine Rodgers, Deacon Eulene Williamson, Nurse Berthamae “Liz” Andrews, Remalia Knowles; two (2) sons: Kenneth and Preston Ferguson Sr.; Three (3) Sons-in-law: Rev. Lindsay Williamson Sr., Vincent Andrews, and Minister Leslie Knowles I; Two (2) Daughters-in-law: Linda and Patrice Ferguson; One (1) Adopted Brother: Bishop Dexter (Annamae) Kemp (Cocoa, Florida); Three (3) sisters-in-law: Francina Hanna and Ellamae and Hilma Ferguson; One (1) Brother-in-law: Cleveland Hanna; Seventeen (17) grandchildren: Evangelist Kim Saunders, Charmane Rodgers, Shemique (Charles) Knowles, Perez (Alexandria) Rodgers, Chineko (Antonia) Andrews, Lindera Williamson, Leskeina Gastin (Savannah, Georgia); Vinshan Andrews, Lezley (Barry) Hall (Toronto, Canada); Kenyen Ferguson, Lindsay Williamson Jr., Vinnesa Andrews, Preston Ferguson Jr., Kendra Ferguson, Leslie Knowles II, Donte Ferguson and Shaquille Williams; Seven (7) Great-grand children: Shonice, Adrielle and Johnathon Rodgers, Antoine and Chenisia Andrews, Lazario Bastian and Joron Gastin of (Savannah, Georgia); Numerous nieces and nephews: Pastor Juanita Ingraham, Evangelist Lilliemae Longley, BettyAnn Grant, Lorenzo Symonette, Minister Lydia Stewart of Orlando, Florida; Rose Symonette of Freeport; Marjorie Farquharson, Bishop Nelson and Dec.
