Funeral Service for Geletta Elizabeth “Gee” Turnquest nee Watson, age 54 years of Mortimer’s, Long Island, will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Anglican Church, Mortimer’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Rev’d Fr. Alvardo Adderley assisted by Rev’d Paulette Cartwright. Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery, Mortimer’s, Long Island.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband: Valance; sons: Barry, Vardo and Mario; daughter: Valencia; daughter-in-law: Nekiah; grandchildren: Dominic King, Barry Jr., Shante, Myklah and Michela Turnquest; adopted son: Deon Newman; brothers: Hubert Major, Cedric, Ralph, Apostle Edward Watson and Donald Watson; sisters: Doreen Turnquest, Nolly Watson, Winiford Roberts, Rowena Miller, Eva Lightbourne and Mythlyn Bowe; in-laws: Merle Major, Adrana, Eureka, Merilee and Blanche Watson, Gordon Lightbourne, Gregory Bowe, Elva and Reginald Walkine, Geraldine and Althea Turnquest, Marjorie and John Cartwright, Stephanie and Luther Cartwright, Sarah Miller, Valerie McDonald, Elton and Sylvia Turnquest, Cyril Jr. and Peter and Marilyn Turnquest, Caroline Parris, Rose and Luther Edgecombe, Carese Dean, Romalee Brurrows, Jennifer and Daniel Cartwright, Rosita and Timothy McBride, Martha, Narine and Jocelyn Turnquest; numerous nieces and nephews including: Nakara Cartwright; other relatives and friends including: Pauline Paul, Monica Cartwright, Nicole Turnquest, Lionel and Linda Smith, Warren Watson, David and Vendalyn Dean, Colleen and Ian Adderley, Sandra Russell, Donald Mortimer, Hon. Loretta Butler Turner, MP, her Morrisville Primary School family, the communities of South Long Island especially Mortimer’s and Gordon’s and the medical staff of Deadman’s Cay Health Centre.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Thursday December 1, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30. In Long Island at Holy Family Anglican Church on Friday December 2, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
