Full Military Funeral Service for the late Retired Inspector Wellington Carlton Sherman Sr. age 70 years of #18 Evergreen Close will be held on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church, Market Street. Officiating will be Pastor Diana Francis and Father Stephen Davies, Police Force Chaplin. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his sons: Marvin Sr., Wellington Jr. and Humphery Sr. Sherman; daughters: Delphine and Denise Sherman; daughter in law: Sharmaine Reckley; grandchildren: Marvin Jr., Doneisha, Rashad Reckley, Ra’Shae, Marvel, and Mariah Reckley, Maliyah Sherman, Maziah Reckley, Del’Ray and Ray Davis Jr., Humphery Jr., Aniya and Brazil Sherman; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Ann Marie Dean, Deborah Price, Sybil Pinder and Ethel Grant Brown; brothers: Ferdinan Sherman, Lawrence Rolle and Perry McKenzie; Sisters In law: Nora Cartwright, Brenda Hunt, Kay Riley and Birdie Rhodriquez; brother in law: Kermit Turnquest; nephews: Lester Jr., Christian (Vivian) Dean, Christopher (Melissa) Dean, Devaughn (Tamika) Price, Darren and Donovan Price; aunts: Missouri Sherman and Family, Ester Sherman and Family, Rosemary Sherman & Family; uncle: Ezel Sherman and Family; special thanks to: Mr. Ellison Greenslade, Commissioner of Police and the entire staff of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Patients Relations Department, Accident & Emergency, the Carmichael Road Family, Long Island Family, Dr. Dabriell Hunt-Burrows, Montgomery Neely Jr.; also special thank you to all those persons who played a special part in the lives of Mr. Wellington and Mrs. Eloise Sherman.

Viewing will be held in the Foyer of The Paul H. Farquharson Conference Centre, Police Headquarters, East Street on Thursday (TODAY) February 4th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m and at the Church on Friday from 8:30 am until service time.
