Funeral service for Claudius John Burrows of #8, Stevenson's Subdivision, Nassau, The Bahamas and formerly of Deadman's Cay, Long Island, The Bahamas, who died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, 15th March, 2016, will be held  at Christ Church Cathedral, George Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 26th March, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.

The Very Reverend Patrick L. Adderley, Dean of Nassau and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral, Reverend Father Colin Humes, Priest Vicar and Archdeacon Keith Cartwright, Archdeacon of the Turks and Caicos Island and The Southern Bahamas and Canon Peter Scott will officiate and
Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
 
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 62 years, Alice I. Burrows, his five sons and their wives: Henderson & Karen, Franklin & Lydia, Paul & Reneé, Brent & Rhonda, Llewellyn & Sandra Burrows.
Grandchildren: Krista, Claudius, Paul Jr., Chanté, Brent II., Rebekah and Lianna Burrows, Alexandria (Alex) Russell, and Megan (Rafael) Tavares.
Great Grandchildren: Kahden and Lacey Huyler-Burrows and Stefanie Knowles.
Sisters: Beryl Cartwright of Deadman's Cay, Long Island, Angie Neilly and Monica Algreen of Current, Eleuthera.
Brothers in law and their Spouses: Herbert (Marjorie), Harry (Marilyn), Thomas (Kathy), David and Basil Treco
