Funeral Service for Carl Augustus “C.A.” “Papa Chicken” Knowles, age 82 years, of Culbert’s Hill and Hillview Drive, will be held on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Fox Hill Road. Officiating will be Rev’d Fr. Hugh Bartlett Jr. Interment will follow in St. Anne’s Church Cemetery, Fox Hill Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter: Donna Cartwright; step-son: Anthony Lowe; granddaughters: Minerva and Nicola Cartwright; step-granddaughters: Dr. Tamara, Nadia, and Mandy Lowe; great granddaughter: Jasmine Cunningham; great grandson: Nicolas Johnson; step-great granddaughter: Jaliyah Russell; step-great grandson: Javon Russell; sisters: Jane Knowles, Ethel Wright and Adeline Knowles; brothers-in-law: James Wright, Maxwell Knowles, Graham Beaman, and Edward (Eddie) Knowles; sisters-in-laws: Hildred Knowles, Anna Fox, Angela Carroll, Lillian Beaman, Brenda and Elizabeth (Betty) Knowles; aunts: Coleen Adderley, Olivia Turnquest, Thelma Dean, Elma Garraway and Harriet Pratt; nieces: Susan Lowe, Cheryl Hall, Marjorie Cartwright, Marsha, Jacqueline and Margurita Carroll, Casey Stuzman, Ingrid and Michelle Knowles; nephews: Brian, Wayne, Geoffrey, Charlton, George, Jerome, Johnathan and Herbert Knowles, James, Joseph, Daniel, David and Charles Wright, and Joseph Knowles; a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention especially: the Winton Culbert’s Hill Community and the Johnson Terrace Community.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday May 6, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday May 7, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
